Rubber Expansion Joints – Abrupt Arch Design / Full Vacuum Applications
Style 204 Expansion Joints
Style 204 spool-type expansion joints are typically used in vacuum and pressure applications and can be constructed in single, multiple, or filled arch versions. They can connect pipe flanges in concentric or eccentric tapers in order to join piping of unequal diameters and connect misaligned piping.

Style 204EVS Expansion Joint
For continuous full vacuum applications. Extreme Vacuum Service Rubber Expansion Joint. The Garlock Style 204EVS rubber expansion joint is designed for systems with the dual challenges of extreme vacuum and aggressive dynamics, such as condensate pump applications. The arch provides a full range of movement while the support rings reduce the risk of arch collapse.

ABRA-LINE® Rubber Expansion Joint Style 404
Style 404 Expansion Joints are specially designed for full vacuum and pressure service in abrasive applications. The tube material is a proprietary urethane formulation. Style 404 can be constructed as a single, multiple, or filled arch design. It can connect pipe flanges in concentric or eccentric tapers to join piping of unequal diameters and connect misaligned piping.

GUARDIAN® 200
Specifically configured abrupt arch design for chemical applications in vacuum and pressure service. Garlock GUARDIAN® 200 expansion joints consist of a chemically-resistant Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) liner mechanically bonded to an abrupt arch. A chlorobutyl cover and blue protectant coating add resistance to environmental effects. Alternate cover materials are available.

EZ-FLO® Style 206
Expansion joints for general service applications Style 206 EZ-FLO® expansion joints contain a single wide flowing arch, eliminating the need for filled arches on slurry services. Suitable for high pressure applications, their self-flushing design eliminates media buildup and reduces fluid turbulence. Style 206 EZ-FLO® can be designed to meet the requirements of ASTM F1123 and Navy/Coast Guard Specification 46CFR56.60-25(E).

Flue Duct / Low Pressure Applications
Style 8400
Style 8400 flue ducts are available in round, rectangular, or square configurations; as belt type (without flanges) or U-type (flanged); with virtually no size restrictions. Garlock also provides on-site vulcanizations for flue ducts that require splicing into position, due to obstructions or interferences that prevent continuous construction installations.

Style 9394
Low Pressure Applications Rubber Expansion Joint. Style 208

Style 8420 Split™
Style 8420 Split™ is typically used in applications where small piping limits the use of flanged connections. An example of this includes vacuum pump inlets and outlets in pulp and paper applications. It is also used as a temporary repair for piping that has cracked. It can be provided in the split design or as a sleeved product. Adhesives kits are also available for easy installation.
